FAVORITE TEA
Monday, July 12, 2010 at 06:55PM I will try to publish posts on a regular basis. I will set up a blogging schedule similar to what I have described on my EGO blog and commented on ProBlogger. At the same time, I will "fail" now and then due to "stuff" popping up... [Editor's note: Do you like Genmai Cha green tea with rice and popcorn?]
My favorite tea is Assam black tea with milk. Please add your favorites in the comment section.

Bancha, a green Japanese tea, is my all-time fav!
Brett,
Thanks for your comment. Where do you buy your Bancha? How much is it per kilogram? I saw it at SEK 400 per kilo at "Tea Culture" ("Tekultur" in Swedish) shop in Gothenburg.
Great question - I actually need a new Bancha source! I used to buy it at a great tea shop here in Sacramento, but as you can see from their website, they closed down! http://www.hinastea.com/
Not sure the conversion, but it was something like $4 for a 2 oz. bag here...it was actually one of the less expensive Japanese teas in the shop.
Brett,
Maybe members of the Sacramento Tea Meetup Group could give you some tips on a good source. You get circa USD $53 if you exchange SEK 400. 1 kilo = 35.27 ounces.
I recently bought some new green teas that I will talk about in future posts. At the shop in Gothenburg, you could find Gen Mai Cha green tea from SEK 350 to Gyokuro at SEK 2200 per kilo.
