FAVORITE TEA

I will try to publish posts on a regular basis. I will set up a blogging schedule similar to what I have described on my EGO blog and commented on ProBlogger. At the same time, I will "fail" now and then due to "stuff" popping up... [Editor's note: Do you like Genmai Cha green tea with rice and popcorn?]

My favorite tea is Assam black tea with milk. Please add your favorites in the comment section.

Thanks for your comment. Where do you buy your Bancha? How much is it per kilogram? I saw it at SEK 400 per kilo at "Tea Culture" ("Tekultur" in Swedish) shop in Gothenburg.

Great question - I actually need a new Bancha source! I used to buy it at a great tea shop here in Sacramento, but as you can see from their website, they closed down! http://www.hinastea.com/

Not sure the conversion, but it was something like $4 for a 2 oz. bag here...it was actually one of the less expensive Japanese teas in the shop.

Maybe members of the Sacramento Tea Meetup Group could give you some tips on a good source. You get circa USD $53 if you exchange SEK 400. 1 kilo = 35.27 ounces.

I recently bought some new green teas that I will talk about in future posts. At the shop in Gothenburg, you could find Gen Mai Cha green tea from SEK 350 to Gyokuro at SEK 2200 per kilo.
